Dr. Webel’s clinical research laboratory focuses on generating high-quality evidence to help people with HIV live and age well, with an emphasis on diet and exercise. She has spoken and published widely in this area with over 150 manuscripts on HIV and aging, behavioral science, and global health. Her work has been funded by the National Institute for Nursing Research, National Heart Lung and Blood Institute, American Heart Association, Gilead Sciences, and the National Institute on Aging.
