Dr. Gildee is a postdoctoral fellow in the Primate Evolutionary Biomechanics Lab (PEBL) in the Department of Anthropology.  Her work examines how reproductive history, cellular aging, and inflammation influence bone remodeling and aging. By combining large-scale epidemiological datasets with biomechanical modeling and biomarker analysis, she aims to clarify the mechanisms of skeletal adaptation and aging across diverse populations. She earned her PhD in Biological Anthropology from the University of Washington.
