Elyse is a PhD candidate in Dr. Nicolas Lehrbach’s lab at Fred Hutch Cancer Center. She is investigating how the mechanisms and regulation of ubiquitin-mediated protein degradation affect cellular function as we age. She uses C. elegans as a whole-animal model to combine complex genetic analysis to physiological readouts.
