ITHS | Volunteer for Research

The Institute of Translational Health Sciences (ITHS) is a collaborative Clinical and Translational Science Awards (CTSA) hub dedicated to accelerating scientific discoveries to improve human health. That process is otherwise known as ‘translational science.’

ITHS connects researchers, healthcare providers, and community organizations to advance translational science across the WWAMI region (Washington, Wyoming, Alaska, Montana, and Idaho). ITHS is disease agnostic, meaning it does not focus on one single illness, but instead provides tools and resources for researchers to successfully improve health outcomes for all.

With a deep well of tools and expertise to support work across the translational spectrum, ITHS is committed to helping researchers succeed. By fostering partnerships and providing access to critical resources, the institute bridges the gap between research and real-world impact, with a strong focus on broadening participation and innovation. ITHS also helps researchers turn their big ideas into marketable products, services, or technologies.
