Dr. Amanda Kunkle is a postdoctoral scholar in the Department of Anthropology working under the mentorship of Dr. Dan Eisenberg. Her research concerns the relationships between attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), occupational trajectories, and biological aging, focusing on identifying how interactions between biological and environmental factors across the life course influence aging in adults with ADHD. This research may identify areas of the life course where behavioral or environmental modifications may be most beneficial in reducing downstream risk of accelerated biological aging. Dr. Kunkle received her PhD from the Department of Anthropology at the University of Washington in June 2026.
